We have an opportunity for an Administration Support Officer to join a Local Council team on an initial 2-month contract in Leichhardt. This role will support the Team Leader in ensuring the Council provides best practice Regulatory Support Services
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Update system templates, registers and databases
- Undertake invoicing, debt collection, overpayments and audits for funds incorrectly allocated
- Process SDRO inquiries for fines issued by the unit and court attendance notices
- Draft letters, reports, promotional materials and other documents
- Manage and execute large mail merges
- Provide support to service units undertaking regulatory investigations and audits
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- High level computer literacy with Advanced MS Word and Excel
- Excellent communication, mediation and negotiation skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Local Government experience would be an advantage but not essential
