About the role:

The Administration Support Officer assist the Regional Manager – Tenancy and Leasing with administrative tasks including facility compliance, financial record management, procurement support, travel arrangements, event coordination, customer inquiries, and staff training, while ensuring adherence to safety policies and any additional assigned responsibilities.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Ability to provide administration and financial support in an office environment. 
  • Sound computing skills and knowledge, including experience using Microsoft Office software, including Excel spreadsheets, and the ability to learn new software systems. 
  • Proven ability to organise and maintain documents with good time management skills to ensure workloads are maintained and deadlines are met. 
  • Be able to work under pressure with competing priorities.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, good judgement and discretion. 
  • Sound literacy and numeracy skills. 
  • Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to effectively deal with a variety of stakeholders, negotiate and resolve conflict. 
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new tasks and gain new skills. 
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment as well as the ability to work autonomously / unsupervised as required. 
  • A current and valid C Class Driver’s License with the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

It would be desirable if you also possessed:

  • Previous experience in a similar administration or customer service role, including experience with travel booking. 
  • Previous experience living and/or working in remote Australian First Nations’ communities. 
  • Demonstrated high level of cross-cultural awareness to ensure effective participation in a multi-cultural workplace. 
  •  Awareness of issues affecting First Nations People in Australia.

All employment with EARC is subject to the successful completion of a Criminal History Check and the ability to obtain a Working with Children Clearance. Criminal history will not exclude an applicant unless it is relevant to the position.

What you'll get in return:

Full Time Permanent employment.

Level 4 - Salary $70,893 - $77,467 (excluding super and locality allowance) with annual wage increase opportunities built into our EBA.

You will also benefit from 6 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading.
