Administrative Assistant

Our very busy client based in Geebung is on the lookout for an exceptional Administration Assistant to become a key team member in this amazing manufacturing company with a long history of making quality products. This business is well known for its high level of service and along with its staff retention.

Responsibilities:

Accounts:

• Ensure invoices and other financial transactions are entered in the ERP and accounts systems accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure that requests to release orders are responded to promptly and processed as per procedure
• Ensure payments are processed in a timely manner to meet agreed payment terms
• Respond to supplier/client queries in a timely manner
• Maintain a petty cash system and reconcile monthly
• Reconcile main bank account on a daily basis

Other:

• Assist Administration Supervisor as required
• General secretarial duties and Reception Duties
• Capable of backing up Administration Supervisor for Pay-roll

Skills / Qualifications Required:

• Accounts Officer and/or Assistant Accountant
• Cert III in Business Administration or equivalent practical experience (Mandatory)
• Competent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Mandatory))
• Experience using both financial and ERP programs – preferably MYOB (mandatory)
• Understanding of GST and ATO business requirements (Desirable)
