We are now inviting applications for a Permanent Part-time Administrative Assistantcommencing as soon as possible . Be part of the diverse and friendly team of teachers and support staff at our iconic harbourside campus, where you will be engaged to undertake a range of administrative and operational tasks related to our Property and Transport services.
The role:
- Part-time position. Hours and days are flexible (i.e. 3 or 4 days a week, 5 days a week working shorter hours)
- Works throughout the School holidays
- Manage diary commitments which include scheduling of meetings and coordination of calendar
- Create and manage documents, workflows, and inboxes
- Manage the transportation services (i.e. bus services to and from school, excursions etc)
- Conduct research, analysis, and project work as directed
- Process expense claims and invoices
- Provide logistical support and work in collaboration with other teams to plan and coordinate other internal and external events and programs
- Provide administrative support for digital tools and platforms
- Undertake other duties as required
The ideal candidate:
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role. Previous experience in supporting the property/maintenance team will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience working with databases
- Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office suite
- Committed to the objectives, vision, and ethos of Sacred Heart Education
- Highly organized, and has the ability to prioritize with limited direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable dealing with stakeholders
- Confident in making suggestions for process improvement
