Role Description
As an Administrative Assistant, it is your responsibility to support the day-to-day administrative and staffing duties and support the managers when required, identify hiring needs and fill job openings, sourcing candidates through our databases, social media and websites.
Key Responsibilities – Event Administration and Planning
Under the overall direction of the Managers you are responsible for providing general office support with particular responsibility for the following tasks:
- Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.
- Collaborating with managers to compile a list of requirements
- Completing paperwork for new hire
- Keeping employee’s personal information updated.
- Supporting internal filing organisation
- Managing casual event staff for rostering events across Australia on a weekly basis ▪
- Recruitment, onboarding, and training of casual event staff
- Helping managers approve timesheets through Deputy (software)
Key Responsibilities – General Business Administration
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Working rights in Australia
- Administration experience
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Mainly Excel & Word)
- Good communication skills
- Proactive and can work with minimum supervision
- Critical thinking abilities
- Attention to detail
- Have a "can-do" and enthusiastic attitude.
