This is a great PART TIME opportunity for someone who has exceptional administrative skills and a genuine interest in the legal profession – you may even be a student currently in their 1st or 2nd year of Law, or someone looking to return to work as the kids are older and more independent. Regardless we are looking for a mature minded individual, who comes with a great deal of common sense, are highly organised, committed and above all, have a really good sense of humour. This role is in Pyrmont – accessible by Light Rail, buses or there is paid parking nearby. THE ROLE
- Manage the day-to-day office operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently
- Meet and greet clients
- Handle all incoming calls
- Schedule appointments and manage diaries
- Prepare, format and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Research duties
- Maintaining all files and case management
- Assist with billings and invoicing
- Oversee office facilities, stationery and maintenance
- Ensure the Partners are on top of their workload and are constantly reminded of any outstanding or pressing issues
- You have exceptional administrative skills – not necessarily from a legal background, however this would be a bonus
- You are savvy with different software and can draft accurate legal documents with exceptional spelling and grammar
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to keep on top of an often challenging and constantly changing work environment
- Strong research skills
- Professional demeanour, with impressive communication skills both with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and privacy
- This is a part time role – up to 20 hours per week, spread across different days
- $65-70K plus super pro rata
- Option to work some hours from home
- Pyrmont location – need to be able to access this fabulous warehouse style office via light rail, buses or car (paid parking nearby)
