We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support across the organisation and ensure efficient operation of the office. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organise and schedule jobs and appointments
- Assist in general office tasks and projects
- Order materials from suppliers
- Provide general support to visitors
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Be available during school holidays
- Working hours to be 7am-2pm.
**Preferred Requirements:**
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles/MYOB
This role is immediate start with a 3 month probation with potential for salary increase based on performance.
