Administration Position
The OCD Clinic Brisbane and Anxiety House Clinics have been supporting individuals dealing with OCD and related disorders for more than ten years. Our dedicated teams consist of Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Psychology Registrars who are devoted to assisting clients in managing their mental health struggles and regaining control of their lives.
About the Role:
As an Administration Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the seamless operations of our clinic. Collaborate with our administrative team to provide exceptional service to our clients and support our clinicians in delivering high-quality care.
Duties will include:
- Open & Closing of Clinic: Manage the opening and closing procedures of the clinic, ensuring a smooth and secure transition for clients and staff.
- Front Desk Support: Greet and assist clients, answer phone calls, and manage appointment scheduling. Actioning new referrals and enquiries, process Mental Health Care Plans and ensuring clinicians schedules are full. Assisting your administrative supervisor with any administration duties to help maintain clinic efficiency.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Billing and Payments: Process client payments, process Medicare claims, sending invoices to NDIS plan managers and assist with any client billing inquiries.
- Assisting Clinicians: Provide administrative support to Psychologists, including document preparation, data entry, and other tasks as needed.
About you:
- Previous experience in an administrative role in healthcare is preferred (1-2 years’ experience).
- Excellent prioritising and organisational skills while keeping up in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High-level of interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Professional and personable telephone manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Takes pride in being organised and efficient.
- Strong ethical compass and respect for confidentiality.
- High-level of computer literacy, experience using PowerDiary is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Must have or be able to obtain a blue card.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Mental health first aid (desirable).
