The Victorian Principals Association (VPA) and Victorian Association of State Secondary Principals (VASSP) are two associations in the one office looking for a part time administration Assistant/ Receptionist. This is a role suited to someone who has a versatile administrative skill-set.
This is a great opportunity for someone who can take the initiative for the smooth running of a small yet dynamic office of two highly respected principal associations. This role is suited to someone who can bring their high-quality administration, communication and troubleshooting skills to the team!
The two associations provide support, advice and Professional Learning for State school principals across Victoria.
The role includes the following duties:
• Greet visitors, answer phones, and direct inquiries
• Undertake general administration duties
• Coordinate meetings (setup, catering, materials)
• Manage appointments and schedules for service providers
• Troubleshoot basic IT issues
• Process new memberships (training provided)
• Manage online calendars and diaries
• Order and receive supplies
• Maintain office space (including kitchen).
You will be part of a small, inclusive and respectful team supporting the work of both associations in a variety of administrative tasks.

- 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

To be considered for this role you will have:
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat basics
- Experience using virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A professional demeanour and a commitment to confidentiality
- The ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
