ABOUT THE ROLE:
The primary responsibility of the Administrative Assistant is to provide effective, efficient and confidential administrative and project support to the Programs Operational Team.
The Administrative Assistant participates in a range of activities for and on behalf of EPIS and is required to answer incoming phone calls to the head office, greet clients and visitors in a professional manner while ensuring that the dissemination of information to operational support areas are always carried out in a connected, supportive, professional and timely manner.
JOB TASKS:
- Providing a professional and high-level administrative support services to the Senior Support Worker working diligently within and environment of competing priorities.
- Interact with diplomacy and professionalism with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders; and initiate appropriate action to enquiries.
- Assist in the development and production of documents at the Day Centre.
- Directing telephone callers to appropriate staff.
- Greeting visitors.
- Relaying internal information.
- Maintaining basic records, client files and archiving.
- Filing, collating, scanning and copying documents including EOM receipts.
- Handling or distributing mail including messenger service.
- Any other duties associated with the smooth operation of the EPIS services as requested by the Senior Support Worker or the Executive Leadership Team.
