We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Sydney legal support team on an 18-month contract working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
As Administrative Assistant you will work closely with the Legal Assistants to provide administrative support to legal and business services staff to enhance our client experience.
Your day to day will involve:
- Providing timely and accurate support to Legal Assistants with administrative support needs.
- Delivering high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines, responding to change and the competing priorities of all work.
- Meeting required deadlines and negotiate alternate time frames when necessary.
- Scanning, printing, or photocopying relevant documents as and when required by the relevant practice group support colleague or Lawyer.
- Providing ad-hoc support to the group or division such as dealing with incoming mail, answering the telephone, amending documents and any other administrative duties.
- Preparing files for archiving and manage return and retrieval of files following firm guidelines.
Skills & experience:
This role would suit a client focused individual who enjoys working collaboratively. To be successful you will have:
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- The ability to work five days per week in the office.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and proactivity in the workplace.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong time management and organisational skills; ability to prioritise your time across a number of busy matters.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
