This role provides a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the Equity and Prevention Service of Population and Community Health to achieve its objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.
All workers and new recruits are required to receive 2 doses of a Therapeutic Goods Administration approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine to commence employment/ engagement or continue to work within a NSW Health service.
A worker and new recruit will be considered compliant if they have a medical contraindication to all available Therapeutic Goods Administration approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccines and provide medical contraindication evidence in line with the policy requirements.
In addition, all Category A workers and new recruits are required to receive one dose of the seasonal influenza vaccine annually to be considered compliant.
Category A workers and new recruits who are non-compliant with seasonal influenza vaccination or have a medical contraindication to influenza or COVID-19 vaccinations must comply with all other infection control risk reduction strategies as directed while working in a Category A position.

- Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, working efficiently with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated experience working in a busy environment with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
- Extensive experience with vendor requests and sign ups, purchasing and accounts payable and dealing with complex purchasing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to write reports, documents and correspondence.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to respond and work with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service and willingness to contribute to quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated advanced level experience in the use of the Microsoft Office package (including Word, Excel and Outlook) and Oracle I-Procurement and the ability to learn new computer-based systems as required.
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel within SESLHD as required.
