Safe Staffing Levels team in the collection, analysis and provision of technical and insightful data and analytics to support decision making for the statewide implementation of
Safe Staffing Levels (which includes the rollout of nurse-to patient-ratios) across NSW Health.You will work in dynamic environment with a highly experienced team, including the Principal Nursing Workload and Staffing Advisor and
Safe Staffing Levels Principal Project Officer to manage data processes for the strategic analysis of Workforce and activity data. What you'll be doing- Managing data, processes and systems for the development and management of sophisticated information reporting tools designed to enable high quality, strategic analysis of workforce and activity data to support the Principal Nursing Workload Advisor and Staffing Advisor, Safe Staffing Levels Project Team and other key internal stakeholders.
- Collecting, recording and analysing data, ensuring accuracy and quality by identifying and rectifying errors, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve or escalate issues as necessary.
- Prioritising complex initiatives, while effectively taking direction and being responsible for investigating and implementing changes to project scope.
- Ensuring practice is documented, stored, and maintained for all to access to enable effective delivery and enhanced ways of working; challenging constructively and being objectively critical to achieve solutions that are fit for purpose.
- Producing accurate analysis and reports in a timely manner.
- Provide education and support to system users of specific electronic reporting tools for workforce profiling for Safe Staffing Levels
About youWe are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Tertiary qualification and/or extensive work experience in an appropriate discipline (e.g. health, health-related research).
- Extensive experience and contemporary knowledge and skills in advanced analytics and modelling, preferably in health.
- Highly developed skills in MS Excel and Microsoft Office tools and experience developing and presenting reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
