The role is part of a small team providing pivotal support across the Mount Isa Housing Service Centre. Tasks ranging from phone and front counter contact with Customers, data entry, including assisting with workplace health and safety and office audits.
As the Administration Officer you will work within a small team providing support across all teams within the Mount Isa Housing Service Centre.
You will do this by:
- Provide administrative support and project assistance in the timely and accurate presentation of correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Establish, coordinate, and maintain effective office systems and procedures, ensuring confidentiality, quality assurance and compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Operate and maintaining databases, filing systems, electronic information systems and office equipment.
- Liaise and network with other administrative support staff within the housing service centre as a member of the administration support team.
- Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices.
