Politis Investment Strategies is a Financial Services business experiencing significant growth. With almost 40 staff we are looking to further expand our Investment Administration team in order to meet the requirements of our growing business.
The Role
We are seeking a process driven administrator, who enjoys problem solving, has a very keen eye for detail and numbers, can take initiative, and enjoys working as part of a specialised team. The successful candidate will have a unique, long-term opportunity to grow and learn through the training we provide.
Investment Administration Responsibilities
- Follow detailed internal processes using sophisticated systems.
- Process and rebalance investment mandates in an accurate and timely manner for a growing client base
- Conduct daily compliance checks on all investment accounts to ensure compliance with internal parameters
- Ensure investment accounts are transacted in an accurate and timely manner
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders promptly
Accounts Responsibilities
- Update and maintain accuracy of the billing system
- Generate and maintain accuracy of invoicing for clients, advisers and dealer group members
- Reconcile and process direct debit of client, adviser and referral fees, and follow up any unpaid fees as required
Experience and Skills
- Highly proactive, analytical, process driven individual
- Experience in administration carrying out high stakes tasks
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong reconciliation and problem solving skills
- Excel spreadsheet and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow procedures and work effectively in a specialised team
- Ability to prioritise and meet multiple deadlines
- Experience as an accountant or in an accounts based role in high beneficial
- Strong customer service skills, both verbal and written
