Suncoast Skips is a Coolum Beach based company involved in Skip Bin Hire also operating their own Resource Recycling Yard.
The business continues to undergo significant growth in all areas and as a consequence is in need of a talented Office Administrator to support all areas of the business.
The role will commence with providing back up support to existing Operations and Accounts Personnel on a 70%-30% basis.
About the role:
- Maintain existing Compliance/Certification Registers and Maintenance Schedules.
- Support existing Operations Scheduler with back up and incoming calls, quickly learning to schedule Truck Drivers using industry specific software (prior scheduling experience in any field well regarded).
- General Admin support to Operations & Accounts Personnel.
- Experience with Xero (AR & AP inputs) will be well regarded, however please note this is less than 30% of the role.

About you:
- You have considerable, proven minimum 4 years administration experience (please detail in your resume).
- You are a mature, self starter who is willing to understand and support the needs of both the team and the business as a whole - with a smile and a warm personality.
- Great customer service comes naturally to you.
- You have good knowledge of the suburbs of the Sunshine Coast geographical area.
- You have advanced Microsoft 365 computer skills (particularly Excel), ideally with experience in preparation and maintenance of Compliance/Certification Registers
- You are quietly confident in manner, and driving compliance from other staff and managers is second nature.
- You have exceptional attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You can work both independently and as part of a team.
- When you see something that can be improved, you enjoy getting right onto it. You are not happy doing nothing, always looking for the next thing to improve, using your amazing skills.
This role is Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm with scope for flexibility in determining daily working hours for the right person.
You will be joining a small, close knit office team who enjoy a good working relationship in a relaxed but motivated workplace.
