AddressUPPAL STEEL GROUP is a well-established fabrication company for the last 10 years, specializing in metal and steel fabrication for various projects, located in Melbourne, Victoria is looking for an office administrator for an immediate start. This is an ongoing Full-time position with a view to permanent work.
A locally owned and operated business requires an office all-rounder to effectively perform and organize the day-to-day running of their office on a permanent full-time basis.
Role
As an Office Administrator/All-Rounder your duties will include but are not limited to:
- First point of contact for clients over the phone.
- Answer/Process emails received daily.
- Create quotations from architectural plans and structural plans
- Create and schedule jobs for Service, Projects, and Installs
- Maintain good relationships with Clients/Customers/Suppliers
- Invoicing & Quoting of jobs promptly.
- General administration support including word processing for Directors/Technicians
- Manage debtors
Profile
- One year of experience in a similar role is necessary to apply for this job.
- Have a precise knowledge of working with structural and architectural plans.
- Demonstrated experience working in an office all-rounder position previously with a flexible attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Strong administration and customer service skills
- You will have the ability to use your initiative, manage multiple tasks, and keep calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills. ADVANCED knowledge of Microsoft office
- Actively open to learning new skills and required software.
- Some experience using an accounting package (Xero/MYOB)
- We preferably need someone from an Architectural backgroud with AUTOCAD experience.
