We are seeking a Casual/ Part Time Receptionist, to join our supportive team in a busy yet friendly and well established podiatry clinic.
In this role, you will work at the front desk of our clinic to welcome patients, book and manage appointments, assist with accounts, support our Podiatrists and ensure effective administration of the clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients and enquiries (in person, by phone and online).
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and welcoming them into our clinic
- Patient record management
- Clerical duties (process payments, assist with accounts payable/received, ensure clinic stock levels are maintained)
- Manage appointments
- Manage email
- Sterilisation of instruments
Candidate requirements:
The successful candidate will be well organised and have great administration skills with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. You will ideally have previous experience working within a medical reception/medical administration environment.
- A customer-focused attitude with a friendly, positive approach.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, referring Doctors and suppliers.
- An eye for detail.
- Good computer skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise.
- A proactive approach, capable of using initiative and working both autonomously and in a team.
