We are looking for a Medical Receptionist /Admin back-up to join our team.
This is a casual position - 8-24 hours per week.
Shifts vary from Monday - Friday 7:45am to 5:15pm. No weekend work at this stage.

We are a dedicated privately owned Skin Cancer Clinic, located in Killarney Vale on the Central Coast.
We are a small close knit team with three skin cancer doctors, an experienced nursing staff and a dedicated administrative team.
We have a relaxed working environment with a reputation for our professionalism and compassion.
Our surgery is modern and spacious.
The Role
We are looking for a Medical Receptionist /Admin back-up to join our team.
This is a casual position - 8-24 hours per week.
Shifts vary from Monday - Friday 7:45am to 5:15pm. No weekend work at this stage.
We use Best Practice Medical Software.
Progression to permanent part-time.
This role has an opportunity to move up to Practice Manager.
Duties
Manning the front reception desk.
Including answering incoming phone calls.
Making appointment bookings, cancellations, rescheduling.
Processing patient billing and Medicare benefits, using Tyro.
Sending Medicare batches and billing procedures.
Handling patient arrivals and departures in a professional and courteous manner.
Other duties include scanning patient notes, referrals, emailing, sending reminders.
Keeping the reception area tidy and uncluttered.
Back-up administration tasks.
Open/Close the clinic.
Requirements
Excellent customer service.
Punctual and reliable.
Exceptional communication skills.
Must have at least 3 years receptionist experience.
Experience with Best Practice, highly desirable.
MYOB knowledge, highly desirable.
Proficient typing/data entry skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
