ABOUT YOU 

The ideal candidate profile for this position is someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced and metrics driven environment; enjoys a challenge; consistently meets, or preferably exceeds, his or her sales targets; possesses a strong customer service focus and a “can do” attitude; and instinctively knows who his or her target audience is and how to effectively “speak” to that demographic.
A good understanding of, and experience in, the Australian higher education student recruitment environment would be advantageous.
Reporting to the Vice-President, Operations Support – Global Sales, the incumbent is responsible for the enrolment priorities and admission results of the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and actively encourage a team of Admissions Counsellors through coaching, professional development, recognition and the creation of a stimulating work environment.
Manage multi-channel admissions requests and their conversion into admissions.
Monitor performance indicators (enrolment, employee satisfaction and student satisfaction) on a daily basis.
Define and ensure the achievement of monthly and annual sales objectives and implement the necessary corrective measures with admissions agents and advisers.
Supervise agents and advisers to ensure that they follow up regularly and effectively with registered and active students.
Ensure the daily follow-up on the various activities at admissions, and produce results reports for the management, on a weekly basis (leads, appointments, interviews, registrations);

Assist the Global Strategic Admissions Management team in the registration process for international students.
Be proactive and involved in the recruitment of all team members.
Participate in the development of recruitment objectives by territory (local, national and international) and implement measures to promote the achievement of the objectives set in terms of student recruitment.
Conduct listening and observation sessions with clients, on an ongoing basis, to ensure the excellence of the service offered and the accuracy of the information provided.
Identify training and coaching needs for each member of your team.
Initiate and actively participate in work improvement and process documentation projects.
Plan and manage outreach activities such as school visits, open days/nights, recruitment expos etc. 
and conduct thorough follow-ups post-activities to enhance conversion rates.
Regularly engage with the local leadership team to get the insights and feedback and align with local expectations, such as but not limited to participating to the local team meetings.
Any other tasks required by your supervisor.
 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

University education, preferably in the field of business administration or a related field. 
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sales in a fast-paced company.
Experience in higher education student recruitment would be advantageous alongside a professional customer service attitude.
Experience in managing a team. Focused on sales results.
Computer literacy, working knowledge of MS Office. 

Knowledge of CRM software would be an asset.
