About the Role
The Admissions Manager is a key player in driving the School’s growth. You will be working with the Principal and Deputy Principal – Strategic Initiatives and Advancement to manage and improve the Admissions processes to ensure they are effective, efficient, and streamlined.
As the first point of contact for prospective families, you will demonstrate warmth, positivity, and a welcoming demeanour. All communication with prospective families should reflect professionalism, efficiency, clarity and timeliness.
The Admissions database needs to be accurate and meticulous containing all relevant and current information in relation to all prospective enrolment.
Selection Criteria
- Education and Experience: Business administration, marketing, or a related field is often required. Relevant experience in admissions, student recruitment, marketing, or customer service is highly valued.
- Knowledge of Admission Processes: Familiarity with admission processes, enrolment management strategies, and educational policies is essential. Experience with admissions software and databases may also be required.
- Organisational Skills: The role often involves managing multiple tasks simultaneously, such as scheduling campus tours, reviewing applications, coordinating events, and maintaining records. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Adaptability and Resilience: The education landscape is constantly evolving, so the ability to adapt to changes, learn new technologies, and navigate unexpected circumstances is crucial for success in this role.
Qualifications, skills and experience
- Current Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC) card for Employees
- Previous experience in admissions, enrolment management, or international recruitment in an educational setting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-cultural competency skills
- Proficiency in database management, admissions software, and virtual communication tools
Commencement
This is a fixed term full-time position (1.0 FTE) commencing Term 2, 15 April 2024.
