Our clients include Engineers Australia, the Australian HR Institute, the Institute of Public Accountants, the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, and others.We are currently looking for a highly driven, motivated and commercial Advertising Sales Manager to join our custom publishing team to manage the Advertising Sales portfolio on one of our core B2B titles, developing and delivering campaigns across a variety of platforms including print, website, podcast, email and social media.
This is a full or part-time role, that can be shaped either as a hybrid opportunity working from our office in Sydney and from home, or remotely within Australia supporting an AEST. We will also consider applications from external contractors.
The day to day:
- Developing and selling advertising campaigns, and content-led commercial partnerships to meet quarterly and annual targets.
- Development of new business pipeline and growth of existing advertiser database.
- Grow your client relationships and gain insight and knowledge about their business and commercial opportunities.
- Manage your pipeline and business through our CRM Ad Sales Genius.
- Produce accurate and well-presented sales proposals.
- Develop new and innovative commercial solutions.
- Report accurate and timely figures and forecasts across the business.
- Manage sales admin and production with the relevant team members.
- Will have a strong drive to succeed and a hunter approach to sales and business development.
- Has a proven track record in developing and converting sales pipelines, and meeting short- and long-term targets.
- Will be able to advise advertisers on long-term strategic integration opportunities as well as short-term tactical advertising campaigns.
- Will be energetic, proactive and motivated with strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
- Has an understanding of native advertising and how it drives ROI.
