Renumeration - Package includes salary starting at $98,941 base plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the team:

The Security team is charged with the daily challenges of ensuring the protection and safety of all Service NSW staff. The security team is spread across 3 portfolios, however still working as a united team to achieve our goals.

About the role:

Provide expert guidance and technical expertise in implementing and operating evolving Security Technology systems to support the security response to incidents in Service Centre sites across NSW to protect organisational assets, facilities, and resources effectively. Working closely with relevant stakeholders the role will assist with day-to-day incident resolution and mitigate risks.

Travel may be required for this role to our different contact centre or service centre locations. Details around expectations will be determined by business needs and flexible work agreements.

About you

*Monitor the electronic security systems (CCTV, alarms and access control systems) and support the initial incident response with real time security information to protect organisational resources to facilitate effective day to day service centre operations.
*Establish strong relationships with the relevant stakeholders and vendors and service providers to ensure the good working order and monitoring of all Security Technology systems, and look for new opportunities to improve access to and operation of the Security Technology systems.
*Use a thorough knowledge of Security Technology systems, operating practices, safety & security policies and procedures to support the resolution, recording and reporting of incidents that occur in or in proximity to agency's infrastructure or people.
*Support after incident reviews as well as site specific / threat specific security risk assessments to enable the capturing of lessons learnt, and the timely adaptation of existing policies and procedures for harm reduction and preventing incident re-occurrence using a blend of technological and practical systems.
*Respond to Security Technology system reactive maintenance requirements and support the continuous uplift of systems through uplift programs and initiatives to enhance security efficiency and effectiveness.
*Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of relevant legislations and other security industry related legislation to ensure compliance and legislative obligations relating to confidentiality, privacy and the integrity of information.

Key knowledge and Expertise

Demonstrated security industry experience in operating electronic security systems (Access Control/CCTV), security operations centre and/or a frontline service environment security control room.

Essential Requirements:

*Cert IV Security Risk Management or equivalent industry experience
*NSW Security License Class 1E and 2C minimum
*Driver's License
