About the opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional AFMO and Maintenance Planner to oversee the AFMO program and systems on an ongoing basis.  This role is critical in ensuring that the scheduling and maintenance and life cycling of systems are completed in a timely manner whilst managing stakeholder expectations.  You will have a variety of skills including procurement, resilience and patience with the ability to prioritise and manage customer expectations.

Some of your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to format and input details into AFMO.
  • Thrive with competing with competing demands and timelines whilst managing contractors. 
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate with a variety of different trades.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the district when required. 
  • Troubleshooting with the ability to explain terminology and systems to a variety of people.

How to apply  To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, and/or equivalent work experience in overseeing effective change in a health service, including industrial, operational commissioning, communications and risk management.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to document processes and present information to a variety of audiences from multidisciplinary backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge of Statutory Acts, Regulations and Standards applicable to Asset Management and Building and Engineering Services of Public Health facilities.
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and/or Train the trainer qualifications with relevant qualifications/or experience in Asset Management and/or Systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and produce appropriate Key Performance Indicators to measure performance relating to Asset Management or other relevant organisational reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret, monitor, consult and support evaluation of policies, procedures, service level agreements and contracts.
