About the role - The primary purpose of the African Cultural Youth Support Officer is to provide cultural and welfare advice and learning and pastoral support to the College. The role holder is responsible for providing support to at risk students of African Culture in Years 7-12 to assist these students to remain engaged in their education, to enhance their opportunities to enhance their further education and sustainable future employment.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
