The Opportunity
This is a key leadership position that is accountable for efficient and effective operational management of the hospital after-hours. The role supports and encompasses bed management and patient flow, ensuring high quality patient care and outcomes, is responsible for the after-hours running of the facility, including policy compliance, processes and services.
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will lead a passionate team of nurses and collaboratively work and consult with on-shift doctors to ensure the best practice and patient outcomes are achieved.
The ability to work weekend and evening shifts is essential for this role.

You are a positive and effective leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Along with your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you can successfully engage, motivate and influence others.
You will also bring:
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within an acute care setting
- Effective rostering skills
- Extensive experience in incident and complaint management
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice.
- Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- ALS and PALS qualifications or willingness to work towards
- Tertiary qualification of Health Management or working towards highly regarded
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate of $60.18 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
