Greenham Gippsland currently has a vacancy at our Moe facility for a Afternoon Load Out Leading Hand. This cattle processing plant has been operated by the Company for over 5 years and processes large numbers of cattle, product from which is destined for export markets. Reporting to the Loadoutsupervisior the successful candidate must have the ability to:
- Manage & oversee temperature controlled perishable product and order accuracy
- Ensure health & safety of all people under responsibility
- Comply with requirements of export product governance
- Manage effective stock control accuracy and turnover within company guidelines. Complete relevant documentation following QA regulations.
- Ensure plant & equipment are maintained in safe & serviceable manner
- Palletise customer orders, Unload Freezers, Prepare container orders,Loading containers.
- This role is afternoon/night shift with penaltie rates
You will have:
- Supervisory experience leading a shiftwork distribution team
- Refrigeration control expertise
- Demonstrable knowledge and application of safe working practices in your daily work
- Load Out supervisory experience overseaing team of 12-13 staff, working in a perishable product environment
- Effective communication and strong computer skills (Thorsys, BSM, Salesforce & MS applications).
- Attention to detail and gain satisfaction from getting things done right, first time
- Forklift license will be highly regarded.
- HR driver’s license will be highly regarded.
