Stockwell International is an Australian owned family company and an industry leader in the fields of international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, local transport, storage and warehousing.
The primary objective of this position is the prompt and accurate afternoon allocation and delivery of all FCL cargo unpacked from both in-house and external warehouses, while actively providing administrative duties to the transport department. Prior experience or exposure to the container transport and administration industry would be beneficial.
Reporting to the QLD Manager, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
- Logging up all “T” jobs and ensuring they are invoiced out correctly
- Looking after transport “IN BOX”
- Receiving, responding and following through on customer inquiries.
- Updating and maintaining delivery schedules spreadsheets
- Client reporting
- Contacting client for booking deliveries, impending deliveries and following up for empty pickups
- Afternoon allocation and control of company drivers and sub-contractors involved in FCL deliveries
- Organizing transport and ensuring containers and cargo are collected, received and delivered withing the desired time frame.
- Obtain time slots from the wharf and advise clients of impending deliveries via email
- Checking of documents and handing paperwork to drivers
- Accurate transfer of all work not allocated on that day
- Maintain safe and clean office area by complying with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct all activities in accordance with the Integrated management system
