AddressTransport Allocator
We are a medium sized 24/7 business based in STAPYLTON QLD with approximately 15 office staff and around 30 drivers that you would be dealing with on a daily basis.
You will be Reporting to the General Manager, booking and dispatching jobs electronically to the trucks, as well as communicating with customers about job status.
Hours are to be discussed. Salary will be based on your experience and what you can offer us.
The first 3 months would be a probation period, after that time we will review your salary and offer full time employment if you are suitable
Your new role
The role involves liaising with customers and Driver/Operators to coordinate delivery times via phone email and In Cab System. You will be responsible for scheduling all jobs across the business and ensuring OH&S requirements are followed throughout the business. The role will also require the Transport Allocator to provide accurate quotes to customers when needed. Attention to detail is a must as you will be allocating from 80 to 120 jobs per day.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be experienced in transport/allocations and possess a high quality of time management skills. This will go along with excellent multi-tasking skills and a strong knowledge of South East Queensland. The ideal candidate will communicate well with those within the business and to the customer base. You will be able to handle a fast paced environment.
