The Role:
As a qualified Aged Care Support Worker, you are more than just a career. You are a friend, a companion, and a lifeline for older people who need assistance to live independently in their own homes.
As a Community Support Worker, you will;
- Provide in-home personal care, assisting with daily living activities such as showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning etc..
- Deliver personalised care aligned with each client's unique Care Plan.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's health or behaviour.
- Working as a team to create a positive experience for our clients.
- Provide support with transportation needs, helping with shopping trips and appointments, to empower active community partition
About You:
To be successful, you will need:
- REQUIRED: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
- Must have reliable, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance and current Australian Driver’s License.
- First Aid (less than 3 years old) and CPR (less than 12 months old).
- Current National Police Check, or willing to obtain.
- Proven experience in Aged Care Support.
- Administration of medication
- Excellent communication skills, empathetic and resilient
