Opportunity
6-month initial hourly rate contract with further option to extend for a Federal Regulator based in Melbourne CBD with hybrid workplace flexibility.
Role
Working as part of an Agile Delivery Team with distributed team-members, you will drive requirements for projects working with internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with Project Managers and Product Owners, participate in Agile ceremonies, and assist drive projects by capturing features, stories, and acceptance criteria.
The project will involve working with several Data Analysts and report to the Director of Data Projects and Governance. Emphasis will be on uplifting Data Governance and the transition of data and reports to a future state Enterprise Data Warehouse, making sure existing requirements are captured in the future state.
Requirements
- Manage and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders and build a great relationship with multiple Data Analysts and Director of Data Projects and Governance
- Capture Current and Future State requirements, features using formal business analysis methodologies, facilitating one-on-one discovery sessions and workshops with multiple stakeholders
- Experience translating business requirements into epics, stories and acceptance criteria using Agile ways of working
- Experience supporting UAT testing from acceptance criteria
- Experience participating in and leading Agile Ceremonies at times
- Background in federal or state government, or large complex corporate enterprise, mandatory
- Experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) projects or Data Governance projects, nice to have
- Proof of Australian Citizenship is required for this Commonwealth Agency - AGSVA Baseline Clearance HIGHLY regarded, not mandatory
