Your new role
The Agile Delivery Lead is key role within the Asset Management team, responsible for supporting the Program Manager and team in the development and execution of an 8-month program. This program aims to enhance strategic asset management capabilities and tools, support a robust, evidence-based maintenance business case, and ensure alignment with long-term investment and operational performance goals. The Agile Delivery Lead will ensure agile principles are applied throughout the program to drive efficient, adaptive, and effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the multidisciplinary team in applying agile methodologies, promoting accountability, collaboration, and high-quality delivery within the program's timeline and budget.
- Program Management: Coordinate and oversee the agile aspects of the program to ensure timelines are met, resources are efficiently allocated, and deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including state agencies, to ensure requirements are understood and addressed, building support for the business case.
- Strategic Communication: Facilitate the development and delivery of clear, compelling communications and reports to convey the business case's rationale, benefits, feasibility, options, and financials to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Data Analysis and Performance Modelling: Lead the agile streams of data analysis and performance modelling to support the evidence base for decision-makers, ensuring insights and recommendations are actionable and aligned with program goals.
- Risk and Change Management: Identify and manage potential Agile Delivery risks, developing mitigation strategies and supporting change management efforts to ensure successful adoption and utilisation of new or enhanced capabilities.
Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement within the team, leveraging feedback and data to refine and enhance agile practices and outcomes
What you'll need to succeed
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or equivalent agile certification,
- Proven experience in leading agile teams within complex, multi-disciplinary programs, preferably in asset management or related fields.
- Preferred a level of understanding asset management principles, investment planning, and governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to support programs in an agile environment
