THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this exciting and challenging role will see you work in a customer centric environment where you will be required to provide a positive can do attitude whilst supporting both the sales and Warehouse teams in delivering professional customer service.
Support Job Duties:
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Liaison with couriers and truck drivers, contractors, customers, management & staff
- Processing of steel and fabricated products
- Ensure all goods received or despatched comply with the required quality standards
- General administration relating to receiving and despatch of goods
- Assisting with process improvement with despatch & production
- Continuous Improvement of Systems and Procedures
- Other duties as directed by your Manager to aid in the smooth day to day operations of the business.
Necessary Skills and Experience
- A “Safety First” attitude & conduct
- Fit and Healthy
- Strong customer service, interpersonal & organisational skills
- Well-developed communication skills
- Proven stock handling experience with strong attention to detail
- Forklift and Car license essential
- Friendly helpful manner and great personality a must!!
- Proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team,
- Ability to be self-motivated and work unsupervised
Knowledge and understanding of Steel and related products desirable but not essential.
Training provided.
You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running through the flow of paperwork and materials, and ensuring our Customers receive the best possible service. Opportunity to gain skills recognition or Certified training is available and highly supported by management.
