Customer Service& Warehouse Support - Medical Consumables

We have an international shareholding and source products from market leading suppliers around the globe. We are now seeking expressions of interest from Customer Service professionals/admin all-rounders for an immediate start, who want to realise their potential and be rewarded for their success, in a high performing and dynamic business environment.
The Opportunity
The successful applicant will need to be organised with good computer skills, enthusiastic, self-motivated, an all-rounder, keen to learn and comfortable working within a small team.
The Role
Reporting to the Manager Operations and Accounting; The primary role is Customer Service which entails inputting customer purchase orders into our system and responding to customer enquiries.
As we are a small team, there will be times where the successful applicant will be required to support the Warehouse team (order picking/dispatching) therefore the applicant must be adaptable and be willing to help out when needed.
Skills & Experience
- Previous data entry experience (purchase order entry preferable)
- Previous Customer Service and / or internal sales experience
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Written and oral communication skills
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Time management and multi-taking skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Experience using a database program, in particular Epicor E10 (desirable)
- Ability to develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Ability to be highly organised and self-managing and accept responsibility for all actions
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
- Ability to follow directions and work unsupervised
- Product knowledge of medical equipment and consumables (desirable)
- Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Current drivers licence
- Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
Customer Service
- Receive and enter customer sales orders, (by telephone and email) and process such orders in the Epicor E10 system in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Answer incoming telephone calls
- Monitor low stock levels and maintain/advise customers of any backorder situations as well as organising backorder priorities
- Arrange customer RMA’s & credits for processing
- Maintain customer reports and filing
- Act as a first point of contact for customers in relation to sales and / or product information in an efficient manner
- Liaise with the sales team (pricing confirmation, backorder notification, alternative products etc)
- Negotiate and resolve customer conflicts
- Receiving and reporting complaints to Regulatory Affairs / Quality Assurance team
- Provide back up to sales staff with pricing and quotes
- Processing Samples Request Forms via Sales team
Warehouse Support
- Provide support to Warehouse and operations team as requested by Manager Operations & Accounting
