Sefton Agronomics is a private consulting agronomy company operating in Southern NSW & Northern Vic for 7 years.
Sefton Agronomics is looking for our next agronomists to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.

• An experienced Agronomist
• Graduate Agronomist

Sefton Agronomics provides independent tailored on farm agronomy advice. We focus on working alongside growers with an infield approach. Our agronomists aim to deliver real time advice for both dryland and irrigated crops in summer and winter.  
We’re seeking an experienced agronomist with minimum 3-5 years’ experience in winter crop agronomy including: canola, cereals and legumes.   
We’re also seeking a graduate agronomist, someone who is looking to build a career in the agronomy space and is interested in irrigated and dryland broadacre crops.

Sefton Agronomics is able to provide a high level of training and mentoring to assist applicants to develop their agronomy skills in winter and summer cropping.
Agronomy Role Includes
• Management and growth of existing client base.
• Working closely with other agronomist to develop correct strategies for clients.
• Provide on farm advice and digital recommendations to clients for crop/rotation
planning.
• Provide in crop weed, pest and disease control strategies.
• Provide financial information and planning budgets for crop gross margins in dryland
and irrigated crops.
• Co-ordination and interpretation of precision agriculture fertiliser and soil
amelioration input.
Essential Qualifications
• Tertiary qualification in agricultural science or related business discipline
• Current Australian Drivers license
• Confident, ‘can do’ attitude, with a passion for agricultural industry
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Strong communication and engagement skills
• Commercial acumen.
