They are seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to be based in Victoria.
Established for over 40 years, this Capital Equipment specialist provides innovative and customised processing, packaging, weighing and labelling solutions for manufacturers & processors in the poultry, meat, seafood, dairy, bakery, fresh produce, ready meal and IQF industries. They have a strong national aftersales / service arm to their organisation, ensuring excellent client retention.
Reporting to National Sales Manager, the Regional BDM will be responsible for taking over a portfolio of existing customers, whilst identifying new potential revenue streams across VIC.
Examples of customers you will work with include General Mills, Goodman Fielder, Thomas Foods, One Harvest, Mulgowie Farms, Baiada etc.
About You:
- A background selling Capital Equipment to the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry.
- A strong solution focus, selling tailored packages to manufacturing customers based on their pain points and needs.
- A 'black book' of manufacturing contacts you can call on.
- Ability to foster and maintain relationships with customers, internal customer service and aftersales colleagues, and suppliers.
- Strong technical aptitude in the Capital Equipment space.
- Experience using Hubspot, or similar, ideal.
- Flexible about travel across the state / country as needs.
