Follow us on LinkedIn to stay informed about exciting job opportunities and updates. to join the conversation.About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Social Work Services team as a Social Worker (AHP2) on an 12-month contract, working in a full-time capacity.As the WCHN Social Worker, you will;

• Provide professional Social Work Services to children, adolescents and their families.
• Work in collaboration with other health professionals to achieve optimal client outcomes.
• Provide effective and efficient psychosocial assessment, counselling and the implementation of therapeutic intervention plans.
• Actively participate in working parties/committees representing the social work department and advocating for client/family needs.

• Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
• Flexibility and ability to work in an environment of change.
• Demonstrated ability to provide written psychosocial assessment and social work interventions with individuals, families and groups.
• Demonstrated ability to provide culturally competent social work practice.
