About the role:
As an Airport Planner at Sydney Airport, you will play a key role in supporting data and capacity analysis, planning strategies, and conducting simulation studies. Your responsibilities will extend to interfacing with stakeholders, airport design managers, and project managers.
In this role, you will harness advanced modelling software which inform key projects that assess and forecast Sydney Airport's capacity requirements, ensuring the infrastructure and systems are optimally designed to meet both current needs and future demands.
What you'll do:
- Provide analytical insight, informed through modelling, to help drive optimal airport development solutions.
- Navigate through data analytics and simulation modelling to optimise our airside and terminal operations.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, ensuring our projects align with local, national, and international standards.
- Chart the course of our airport's future, using your expertise to advise on terminal and airfield planning.
Experience you’ll bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the aviation industry, with a proven track record of managing projects and stakeholders.
- A knack for analysing vast amounts of operational / planning data, with exception Excel skills.
- PowerBi skills is advantageous but not essential.
