Our Opportunity
McMillian Chiropractic now have a rare opportunity for an Allied Health Administrator to join our team at our Sale practice on a permanent part-time or casual basis. This position will work 10-15 hours per week between the business hours of 8am and 7pm, Monday to Friday. Additional availability to cover staff leave across our Sale and Traralgon practices will be highly regarded.
Our Administration team play an integral part in the efficient running of our practices and the position would be well suited to someone who loves interacting with people, as we pride ourselves on our culture, positive team environment and care for each other and our community.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Patient arrival - Provide a warm and welcoming greeting, answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Manage patient bookings via phone or face to face, prepare patient records, greet patients, suppliers, and guests, and administer payments
- Photocopying; faxing; scanning and stocking tasks
- Ensure reception and waiting areas are clean and tidy
- Maintain office stationery supplies including photocopy, printer, and fax provisions
- Provide a high level of accurate administrative support to the Clinic teams
- Support our practitioners with in room pre and post appointment patient care
About you
To be a great fit for this position, you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative position, with demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service
- NDIS billing experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a professional phone manner
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as well as autonomously where required
- Strong computer and administrative skills
