ALLIED HEALTH ASSISTANT

We are looking for an energetic Allied Health Assistant, ideally someone who is currently studying to be an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist to support our multidisciplinary Allied Health team.
About the Role
You will be involved in our Individualised and Group-Based Therapy Programs. Each of our programs are customized to meet the needs and priorities of the client. Your responsibilities will include assisting with program delivery, increasing the capacity of families/carers and mainstream service providers to ensure children are participating meaningfully in inclusive environments.
About the Duties
- Assist practitioners with therapy services
- Implement therapy sessions and treatment plans as written by practitioner
- Writing of progress reports
- Coordinating with other ALLIED HEALTH professionals
- Provide education / communication to clients, families, the community and other practitioners/ staff

Essential Criteria
- Current Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Background in Early Childhood or similar role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong work ethic with a collaborative team approach.
- A current driver’s licence and use of own vehicle.
- NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screener Check clearance.
