Leading a multi-disciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals across multiple locations, you will be responsible for implementing efficient and effective service delivery in line with clinical practice standards and for the overall financial performance of the business unit.An influencing role, you will work closely with our senior management team to build on internal and develop external relationships to achieve quality outcomes for our clients. In an exciting time for the disability sector, you will drive service development and use effective change leadership to guide and grow your team's capacity to deliver efficient and effective services in line with the NDIS Practice Standards and Novita's Clinical Governance Framework. This position is a Full-time position based at Novita's Head office in Hindmarsh and reports to the General Manager, Therapy and Family Services.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout YouThe Allied Health Manager- Central Services will provide leadership, guidance and advice in relation to the achievement of organisation deliverables that are focused on client outcomes. Demonstrating an understanding of quality frameworks and a proven ability to lead teams to achieve outcomes, you will be self-starter with experience in continuous improvement of services. Your ability to grow a division or business coupled with controlling budgets, resources and governance processes will see you succeed in this role.Experience with fee for service activities or taking a concept or business from start to finish is desirable, along with tertiary qualifications in disability, health, human services or similar relevant field or business, and management.To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Highly desirable - experience in Allied Health management
- Highly desirable - qualifications in an Allied Health discipline, and/or business management
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work collaboratively with both internal and external staff, clients and stakeholders
- Results-focused, highly organised, flexible and proactive approach with the ability to respond to continuous change
- Demonstrated ability to lead and embed a culture of excellence that empowers and supports growth and development
- Demonstrated experience in managing and achieving client service outcomes and commercial growth
- Demonstrated responsive, agile negotiating, influencing and stakeholder partnering experience gained through a similar role
- Valid driving licence
- This position can include access to a full maintained fleet vehicle, which includes an amount payable to Novita under the Fringe Tax Benefit Act. You must also have a willingness to use own vehicle for travel if required.
