Role Overview:
As the welcoming face of our clinic, you will be instrumental in establishing and nurturing lasting relationships with patients and referrers. Your role is crucial in promoting our distinguished team of therapists and ensuring our clinic is the preferred healthcare provider. We prioritize candidates who are not only adept at administrative tasks but who also understand the significance of their role in patient care and clinic reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute clerical receptionist duties, including filing, photocopying, scanning, typing, and faxing.
- Create and maintain confidential patient medical records.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently.
- Process payments through HICAPS and Medicare.
- Liaise with doctors, hospital staff, other health professionals, insurance companies, and suppliers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Support our physiotherapists and administration team with various administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our clinic.
We're Looking For:
- Experience and knowledge in healthcare administration processes, including Private Health, Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, and Third Party processes.
- Self-motivated individuals with a proven work ethic.
- The ability to work flexibly, reliably, and effectively under pressure.
- Outstanding communication skills and a genuine appreciation for patient and referrer interactions.
