Form of work Family Doctors @ Tuggerah is a family orientated General Practice situated in Westfield Tuggerah. We are currently in need of an experienced Medical Receptionist on a casual basis to work up to 32 hours a week including Saturdays on a roster basis from the last week of April to the end of August with flexibility to cover for sick leave and or holidays on a continuing basis.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Opening and closing the Practice
Scheduling appointments for new and existing patients.
Attending to patients face to face, over the telephone and by emails.
Responding to all correspondence through faxes, emails and by phone.
Scanning, document uploads and general data entry.
Experience in billing: Accounts / Invoices/ Workers Compensation.
Making Patient claims to Medicare.
Close of day procedures
Previous medical centre experience and a working knowledge of Best Practice or similar is a must, with working knowledge of Excel and word.
Intermediate computer knowledge and skills would be an advantage
Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure (essential)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy is necessary.
Excellent verbal, written communication skill and professional phone manner.
