PDC Health Hub, Perth's leading and largest community based integrated diabetes health destination, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic front-of-house team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and guide patients through our multi-disciplinary hub, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Efficiently manage appointments, phone calls, and patient flow to maintain a smooth operation.
- Process insurance claims, collect payments, and accurately code medical services.
- Provide administrative support to our diverse team of Allied Health professionals.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for patients and staff.
- Meticulously handle administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a medical receptionist, preferably in a multi-specialty setting.
- Proficiency with medical billing software and coding systems (experience with Allied Health billing is an asset).
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively under pressure.
- A genuine passion for healthcare and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation for travel between PDC Health Hub's main location and satellite clinics.
- NDIS worker screening clearance.
- Availability to work weekends on rotating roster.
