Monash Heart is a leading unified cross-site cardiology service of Monash Health located at Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital and at the newest premier site, Victorian Heart Hospital.

The first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, the Victorian Heart Hospital provides tailored cardiovascular care for all Victorians, and specialised life-saving procedures for our community. It also sets a new international benchmark for cardiac hospital design in a purpose-built facility with access to landscaped spaces exuding calm and tranquillity, to enhance the patient experience and positively impact clinical outcomes.
Ambulatory Cardiac Services
Our Ambulatory Cardiac Services is one of the largest programs in the Victorian Heart Hospital delivering an innovative model of care and a comprehensive range of acute and chronic cardiac consulting services. Supported by a new purpose built EMR module, our Ambulatory Services includes bookings and scheduling for; ambulatory clinics, ambulatory testing, preadmission, diagnostic procedures, and prevention and rehabilitation. Referral management, support for Multidisciplinary Team Meetings, Call centre and system support and Revenue Support Services. Cardiac Clinics and Ambulatory testing are also located at satellite sites including Casey and Dandenong Hospitals, Monash Children’s and Frankston. Our Ambulatory Cardiac Services will be a ‘one stop shop’ providing patients with an efficient, streamlined and integrated approach to the patient journey within a multidisciplinary team focus, with vastly reduced duplication and patient movements, and standardisation of care.
Administration Manager, Cardiac Ambulatory Services
Unique opportunity to lead, inspire and drive excellence in the provision of exceptional administrative services across our Cardiac Ambulatory Services. A career defining role, the Administration Manager will oversee and manage the daily administrative operations of Cardiac Ambulatory Services and satellite sites, including and not limited to referral management, bookings, appointment scheduling, customer service and billing. The ability to lead by example and foster a highly skilled and engaged team is paramount to ensure alignment with a growing, diverse, and innovative service. This leadership role works closely and collaboratively with a talented multidisciplinary team, committed to providing an efficient and streamlined service to support our community. At the forefront of our pioneering Cardiac Ambulatory Services, is a modern model of care and new purpose-built Electronic Medical Records (EMR) module tailored to deliver world class heart-centred care for our cardiac patients. As we expand our services and go from strength to strength in 2024, demonstrated experience to lead and support teams and stakeholders through change is fundamental to this opportunity.

Selection Criteria Considerable experience in an operational leadership role within a health service required
Proven ability to lead and support teams through change
Knowledge of relevant DHHS policies and business rules in relation to data and reporting for the Victorian Integrated Non-Admitted Health (VINAH)
Highly developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with a strong customer service approach
Knowledge of MBS billing processes and compliance requirements
Proven ability in policy and procedure development and implementation
