Salary: $101,400 - 111,569 per annum + 11% superannuation
Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Human Resources team is seeking an Applications Analyst to support and lead key initiatives with our HR Management System (HRMS), Dayforce.
Purpose:
This role will contribute to key strategies by designing and implementing and optimising technology that supports our employee experience. You will contribute to ongoing applications management and the ongoing adoption of enterprise architecture, application and infrastructure lifecycle and service operation methodologies, by ensuring leaders and employees have efficient workforce management processes and effective workforce data to inform decision making.
About the role:
- Service Design – the design of new and upgraded applications and infrastructure to support customer requirements whilst complying with standards and delivered in a sustainable manner
- Service Transition - transitioning new and changed services into live Council service operation including change enablement, deployment, issues management and customer support
- Service Operation - the management of the day-to-day operation of the Dayforce (HRMS) services for assigned caseload and applications, including identification of opportunities for improvement. Drive HRMS optimisation to deliver effective processes and accurate data on future, current and former employees to improve business productivity, customer experience and data driven decision making
- HRMS Adoption - support employees and leaders at all levels of the organisation in their use of the HRMS to ensure that they leverage Council’s investment in the system to make better decisions, develop the workforce and ensure compliance with statutory employment obligations
- HRMS Administration - undertake administrative and compliance activities to support the integrity of the HRMS solution, including administration of roles and users, managing upgrades and changes, conducting integrity and assurance tests on the system and data held within the system and evaluating functionality changes in the product to determine their applicability and potential benefits to Council operations
About you:
- Experience working in an application (preferably a HRMS/HRIS such as Dayforce, Chris21, Workday, Successfactors), networking or server infrastructure environment at an organisational level
- Experience in application and human resources lifecycle management activities including implementation, configuration, operation, maintenance, optimisation, upgrade and transition out of use
- An understanding of HR and Payroll core processes
