AddressSailing Whitsundays is seeking an Analyst Programmer to join our team of developers.
Location
Airlie Beach, Whitsundays, Queensland. Full-time on-site preferred, with option for remote work after probation.

The Role
As an Analyst Programmer, you will be a key player in both the development and analytical aspects of our projects. Your role will involve hands-on coding as well as writing technical specifications and analyzing user interactions to drive improvements.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Developing in a range of programming languages across the entire web stack
- Designing and working with web & graphic designers
- Working with analytical tools to discover how users are interacting with software and web apps in order to help improve user engagement
- Writing requirements, tech specifications, plans and documentation for upcoming projects
- Working with a team of developers and performing code reviews
Necessary Skills:
Experience with Analytical tools such as SEMRush, Google Analytics, HotJar
Knowledge across the whole web development tech-stack (front end, as well as backend languages)
Proficient in SQL and best practices with relational database structure
Experience creating system plans, specifications and requirements for development projects
Comfortable using version control and continuous integration (Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related qualification
Experience with the following languages; Angular, HTML, CSS, Javascript, GoLang, SQL and PHP
Knowledge of Figma & tools like LucidChart
AWS experience
