The Project and Infrastructure Advisory Team are industry leaders in the planning and delivery of city and region shaping projects. Our team works with government and private sector clients across a range of sectors including transport, precincts, education, health, telecommunications and regional economic development. Our team includes a broad range of expertise including:

• Economic appraisals, modelling, forecasting and analysis
• Business cases and assurance
• Financial and commercial assessments and transaction management
• Policy, strategy and technical planning
• Project and program management

Our growing Economics team will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to work on a diverse range of national projects. You will be responsible for undertaking economic research, analytical tasks and development of economic models.

Your New Opportunity

We are currently searching for an Analyst to undertake the development of economic appraisals, including Cost Benefit Analysis, economic modelling and other technical delivery assignments relating to economics.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking the development of economic appraisals, including cost benefit analysis for economic appraisals, economic modelling and analysis
• Contributing to the management of on-time and on-budget delivery of engagements
• Opportunities to be involved in wider team engagements and learn new skills
• Any other business development, project delivery and team management activities as required supporting the efficient management of the team.

What You'll Bring

You will have tertiary qualifications in the field of economics.

Experience in economic appraisal, modelling and analysis as well as business case development within the infrastructure sector is desirable.

You will bring with you:

• Demonstrated technical capabilities in economic appraisals, analysis and and/or business case preparation
• Strong numeracy skills, with demonstrated experience in data and quantitative analysis and Excel modelling
• Well-developed report writing skills
• Strong collaboration and personal time management skills, and demonstrated ability to complete tasks within time and budget constraints
