Are you ready to step into a pivotal role as a Principal Project Officer - Commercial Analyst with State Government department. We are seeking a dynamic individual to undertake specialist commercial, due diligence and financial analyses of programs, major projects and initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of strategic solutions and risk management recommendations. Conduct high quality risk management analyses and develop solutions for programs, major projects, and initiatives.
Prepare comprehensive due diligence, commercial and risk assessments for various incentive programs and projects.
Coordinate whole-of-Queensland responses to Queensland related foreign investment proposals and provide responses to Federal Treasury.
Preferred Requirements:
Proven experience in conducting commercial and financial analyses within a complex organisational environment.
Demonstrated ability to prepare high quality risk management recommendations and comprehensive due diligence assessments.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to contribute to sensitive negotiations and business case proposals.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in using spreadsheets for reporting and monitoring funding agreements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications or qualifications in financial analysis or risk management.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
