The key duties of the position include
The Commonwealth-State and Relations Branch (CSRB) of the Treasury is seeking APS4 to EL1 officers to fill various vacancies in the branch. Acting opportunities will also be considered for high-performing staff. There are a range of responsibilities for APS4-EL1s across the three units in CSRB.
This branch is responsible for working with other Commonwealth agencies and state and territory government (State) officials on a broad range of federal financial relations matters, including supporting the Council on Federal Financial Relations (CFFR) and managing the Commonwealth's payments to the States expected to total around $175 billion (around 25 per cent of total Commonwealth annual expenditure) this financial year.
